This is my true self.

I am an avid explorer possessed by a profound curiosity for the intricate and diverse tapestry of our world. My adventures have whisked me away to a variety of locations, including the vibrant landscapes of Europe, the exotic allure of Thailand, and the rich cultures of Africa. My journey as a photographer and content creator began in 1989, a significant year marked by the momentous fall of the Berlin Wall. It was during this transformative time that I had the privilege of capturing unforgettable moments at the historic opening of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. This pivotal experience ignited my passion for exploration and storytelling.

Following my time in Germany, I embarked on a thrilling journey through Western Germany, ultimately leading me into the heart of Eastern Europe, with a particular fondness for Poland. In 2002, my path led me to the enchanting landscapes and warm communities of Ghana in West Africa, an experience that deepened my appreciation for diverse cultures and narratives.

In late 2004, I made the decision to relocate to Wales, UK, where I found new opportunities to continue my explorations and document my experiences. Since settling in Wales, I have traveled extensively across both West and East Africa, each journey adding layers to my understanding of the world. I've also revisited Thailand, a country that captivates me with its unique charm. Additionally, I cannot overlook a memorable trip to Florida, USA, that I took in 1990 with a friend, which marked another fascinating chapter in my adventures. Through my lens, I aim to capture not just images, but the very essence of the places I visit and the people I meet along the way.

I'm Remo Kurka, and I'm thrilled to share a glimpse into my life with you. I often describe myself as a nomad, journeying through the captivating landscapes of Europe, Africa, and Thailand.

One of my most memorable trips took me to Florida, USA, adding to my rich tapestry of experiences. My life is primarily anchored in two incredible places: the stunning landscapes of Wales in the UK and the vibrant culture of Ghana in West Africa.

I have a profound passion for exploring history, immersing myself in diverse cultures, and capturing the world's beauty through my photography.
